About the Muskego Corvette Club
A Community Built Around America’s Sports Car
Founded in 1973, the Muskego Corvette Club was created by three local enthusiasts—Lee Elger, Ron Deppert, and Jack Frey—who shared a deep admiration for America’s number one sports car. What began as a small group of friends has grown into a vibrant, welcoming club of nearly 200 members, all connected by a shared passion for Corvettes and the friendships that come with them.
The Muskego Corvette Club is about more than the cars we drive—it’s about the people behind the wheel. Our members enjoy being active, social, and involved, with plenty of opportunities to get out on the road, attend car shows, participate in club events, and simply enjoy good company with fellow Corvette enthusiasts.
Our History & Growth
From just three founding members to over 150 today, the Muskego Corvette Club has grown steadily while staying true to its roots. Our members come from all walks of life and own Corvettes spanning generations—from treasured classics to modern performance machines. While our backgrounds and cars may differ, the common bond of Corvette ownership has kept our club strong for more than five decades.

OUR BOARD
Steve Rose — President
Steve’s love for Corvettes—especially the 1967 C2—started in the mid-1970s while serving in the Marine Corps. Having owned six Corvettes over the years, he is proud to serve on the board and be part of such a dedicated and enthusiastic group.
George Beardsley — Vice President
George’s passion for Corvettes began decades ago with a 1970 convertible and has grown through countless miles on the open road. A club member since 2015, he helps plan the club’s popular Wisconsin road trips and enjoys keeping members driving, exploring, and connected.
Karen Decker — Secretary
Karen’s Corvette story began in 1976 with a first date in a 1967 C2 Corvette—an experience that changed everything. She and her husband Don still own that classic along with a 2014 C7. A member of the Muskego Corvette Club since 2021, Karen has served as Secretary since 2022 and enjoys the friendships and teamwork that define the club.
Terri Johnson - Board Director
Terri grew up on a farm in Johnson Creek with a large family. She has always had a love for Corvettes. Terri and her husband Randy have owned four Corvettes. Currently they own a C8 2021 Z51 black convertible and are members of the Muskego Corvette Club since 2023. Terri is proud to be serving as a Board Director and enjoys participating in club events, making friendships and great memories with lots of laughter.
Mark Kruschke — Board Director
Mark began his Corvette journey in 1976 and has been a club member since 1977. Over the years, he has owned multiple Corvettes and served the club in many ways, including running the 50-50 raffle for 18 years. He values the friendships, road trips, and memories made through the club.
George Predick — Board Director
George has loved cars his entire life, with Corvettes always at the top of his dream list. His first Corvette arrived in 1982, and today he proudly drives a 2015 C7 convertible. After joining the club in 2024, George quickly found great friendships and events and is honored to serve on the board.
Bob Wiltse — CFO
Scott Burkhardt — Board Director
Scott’s love of cars started early, working alongside his dad, a talented body shop and mechanical expert. From helping in the garage as a young boy to finally purchasing his first Corvette in 2018 as a birthday surprise for his wife, the passion has always been there. Shortly after, they joined the Muskego Corvette Club, and Scott now enjoys serving on the board and making lasting memories with fellow members.
Mia Stone — Board Director
Mia’s Corvette journey began with Pat’s 1968 Corvette, a classic he had owned since he was 18. Encouraged by a club member, they joined the club in 1999 and quickly became part of the community—even attending their first drive before owning their own Corvette. Mia has served the club in multiple leadership roles, including Secretary, President, and Vice President, and looks forward to continuing to support the club she considers family.
