SUMMARY:Supper Club Dinner-The Edgewater
DESCRIPTION:Karla Jordan is the coordinator of this event. \nTime is drawing near for our next Supper Club Outing at The Edgewater Supper Club in Jefferson\, Wisconsin.  This Supper Club too\, is one of the oldest Supper Clubs in Wisconsin.  The Bar was brought to its current location in the year 1900 by horses.  It is located on a river\, and it is so old that it slants towards the river.  Our glasses will slant also and are made to slant!!!  Have dined here before and it is sooo cool!!!!  This Supper Club has been many things through the years.  SHHHHH….can’t tell you everything!!!!  We will hear about it and it’s past when we dine on Thursday June 18th. \nLimit 40 people – Cocktails at 5:00pm\, Dinner at 6:00pm. \nThe LIMITED menu for the evening is as follows: \nPrime Rib $48 \n8 oz. Filet $48 \nSalmon w/Creamy Parmesan Sauce  $36 \nWalleye w/Mustard Cream Sauce $36 \nPasta w/Bolognese in Cream Sauce over a Biscuit  $28 \nALL these entrees are uniquely prepared. \nPlease let me know your entry choice no later than Thursday\, June 11th please.  This is a small restaurant with a small kitchen so they must be prepared ahead of time\, so all our meals come out together.  This will be a very fun experience ahead and we hope you will join us!!!!!! \nGeorge Beardsley is going to lead another Summer Supper Club drive leaving at 3:30pm from McDonald’s\, 211 WI-83 in Delafield.  It will be a beautiful drive through the countryside.  These Summer Supper Clubs are set up a distance away from our area so we can drive our corvettes and enjoy all the back roads that Wisconsin has to offer.  They are unique Supper Clubs that are “fun to explore”  Please let George or myself know if you will be joining us on this Corvette drive. \nLooking forward to seeing ALL of you……. \nDenny & Karla \n  \n

SUMMARY:National Corvette Day Drive & The Dump Bar & Grill
DESCRIPTION:This year MCC has approved a drive to commemorate National Corvette Day!\n\n\n        Overview: We’ll meet at 10:15am and depart at 10:30am from McDonalds in Delafield. Take a leisurely 70-mile drive to Cambria\, indoor\, outdoor seating\, enjoy lunch\, kick-back and relax\, and then a self-guided drive back home. The cut-off for sign-up is 30 members (19 members already signed up).\n\n\n        June 30th is remembered as the origin of the Corvette — the iconic American sports automobile. The first Corvette was introduced in 1953 by the General Motors automobile factory in Michigan.  Two corvettes were produced on 6/30/1953.  Since then\, and 73 years later\, a total exceeding 1.9 million have been manufactured. \n\n        The first day of Corvette production is not the only automotive milestone for June 30th.  In 1908 GM was established in Flint\, Michigan.  In 1955 GM introduced the V8 engine\, and in 1981 Corvette production was transferred from St Louis to Bowling Green.  In 2008\, the American House of Representatives announced that June 30 would be commemorated as National Corvette Day. Incidentally\, this was the year when GM had completed 100 years of its operations\, which made it the right time to dedicate an entire day in the national calendar to celebrate those important milestones. \n\n        And there’s more!!  Our Tuesday drive will take us to an establishment celebrating another victory in 2026. We will travel to The Dump Bar and Grill in Cambria WI. The Tennessee Whiskey Burger from The Dump Bar & Grill in Cambria\, WI has been crowned the 2026 winner of the 3rd annual Wisconsin Beef Council’s Best Burger Contest.  Although the Dump Bar offers a full menu\, the Tennessee Whiskey Burger sounds really good.  Check-out their website for their complete food line-up. \n\n\n        Hopefully you can join us on the club drive\, if not\, remember that June 30th is National Corvette Day and if you don’t drive your corvette(s) on that day your car radio will probably lose its memory.  \n\n       George B

SUMMARY:Red/White/Blue Ride to Calvano's Car Show
DESCRIPTION:The Red/White/Blue/Calvano drive will be held on Wednesday July 29th.  This drive is unique for two reasons. FIRST: It’s the shortest drive of the year – In fact most of us will drive further just to reach Papa Stache’s. RWBC total drive length: 12 miles. That’s right\, 12 miles. We’ll travel six fun-filled miles on scenic Hwy 164 all the way to Lawnsdale Road. From there we’ll turn left and travel yet another six miles to Foxx View Lanes in Waukesha. Please show-up with a full tank of gas because there are no rest stops!! SECOND: We’re going All American and lining-up by color. Red vehicles will lead the column\, then White vehicles\, then the Blues\, then the rest of us. We’ll try to park as a group continuing the Red / White / Blue theme if possible.\n\n\n\n  \nNEW TIMES ARE: \n1:30 – 2:25:  Meet & Socialize (Papa Stache) \n2:25:            Participants Meeting \n2:30:            Head Out\, By Color\, Red Cars\, then White\, then Blue (so far this idea isn’t working very well) \n3:00:            Arrive\, Park & Relax \n  \nShow parking is free.  Food and refreshments are available. They serve food indoors and outdoors\, there are indoor rest facilities\, and live music 5-8pm.  There are raffles and a wide assortment of local cars and trucks\, collectables as well as late models. You can leave from the show at any time\, no one is “parked-in”. \n  \nThere is an event sign-up sheet at our meetings\, or you can go on-line to add your name to the list.  Fun Event\, Local Event\, Always well attended and Always a good time.

SUMMARY:Veterans Honor Drive - Lunch @ Anchor Inn-Newville\, WI
DESCRIPTION:We kicked-off our 2026 driving season on April 18th with our “DUST-UM-OFF” drive.  34 members attended.  Here we are\, 207 days later and MCC has arrived at 11/11/26 – Veterans Day.  In honor of Veterans Day we will host the “VETERANS HONOR DRIVE”.  \nVeterans Day\, in the United States\, is a national holiday honoring veterans of all branches of the Armed Forces regardless of whether they served in wartime or peacetime. The observance originated in 1919 on the first anniversary of the 1918 armistice that ended World War I and was then known as Armistice Day.  In 1954 the day was renamed Veterans Day.     \n\nThe Veterans Honor Drive will mark the 24th drive of our 24-drive\, 7\,000+ mile season.   \n \nThe Veterans Honor Drive will DEPART from Papa Stache in Big Bend at 11:11am. The 60-mile route will take us the Anchor Inn in Newville WI.  Great restaurant located on the Rock River\, just west of Lake Koshkonong.  Anchor Inn has a detailed website if you want to check out the menu.  There we’ll grab lunch and discuss some new driving ideas and adventures for 2027.     \n \nAs always people are free to come & go at these events\, however\, on this drive there will be a guided drive back to Hwy 43 in Mukwonago for those that are interested.  Total drive is about a 95-mile loop.  Of course\, being mid-November the weather and road conditions could become an issue. If there are changes to the agenda\, you will be contacted via e-mail so everyone will have the latest info. Heck\, if it’s not a “corvette day”\, we’ll adjust accordingly and find a way to meet.  Based on member suggestions and board approval it will be almost 160 days (probably 4/17/27) before our next drive so hopefully we can make 11/11 a drive day.\n\n
