SUMMARY:1111 Last Chance Drive - Lunch @ Anchor Inn-Newville\, WI
DESCRIPTION:        Our FIRST formal drive of our 2026 season\, the “DUST-UM-OFF” drive was on April 18th\, no heatwave that day but 39 members attended.   Here we are\, 207 days later and MCC has arrived at the “LAST CHANCE DRIVE”.  This is the LAST formal drive of the MCC 2026 driving season.  It’s the 20th drive of our 20-drive\, 7\,000+ mile season.  \n        On 11/11\, a Wednesday\, the Last Chance Drive will depart from Papa Stache in Big Bend at 11:00am.  The 60-mile route will take us to the Anchor Inn in Newville WI. Great restaurant located on the Rock River\, just west of Lake Koshkonong.  Anchor Inn has a detailed website if you want to check out the menu. There we’ll grab lunch and discuss some new driving ideas and adventures for 2027.  \n        As always people are free to come & go at these events\, however\, on this drive there will be a guided drive back to Hwy 43 in Mukwonago for those that are interested. Total drive is about a 95-mile loop.  Of course\, being mid-November\, the weather could become an issue. If there are changes to the agenda\, you will be contacted via e-mail so everyone will have the latest info. Heck\, if it’s not a Corvette day\, maybe we’ll simply meet and socialize at a local restaurant. \n        Based on member suggestions and board approval it will be almost 160 days (probably 4/17/27) before our next “Dust-Em-Off” drive so hopefully\, we can make 11/11 a drive day.\n        George B.
